Julian finally moved, shaking his head slowly, a silent protest. Nora Bell leaned over and whispered something to him, but he ignored her.
“Finally,” Judge Aris stated, looking directly at Julian, “due to the severity of the endangerment, and the deliberate attempts to conceal and suppress critical evidence, this court is referring the entirety of the telematics report and the deposition transcript of Dr. Holbrook to the Cook County State’s Attorney for immediate criminal review.”
The words hit Julian like a physical blow. Criminal review. His legal career, his entire life, was now teetering on the edge of a precipice. The public exposure, the loss of clients, and now this.
