Arthur Delancy Trapped on Midnight Subway by Executive Son Julian After Exposing Hollywood Cover-Up
👉 Previous Decision: You chose Option B – Push forward through the carriage doors toward the conductor’s cabin at the front of the train.
Arthur braced himself, pushing past the chilling array of shrouded mannequins. Their motionless forms, dressed in the haunting remnants of studio wardrobe, seemed to watch his every move. He reached the door to the conductor’s cabin, feeling the cold steel.
The lock yielded with a soft click, giving way under his urgent pull. The cabin was eerily empty. No human driver sat at the controls.
Instead, a custom automated control box pulsed with a faint green light, wired to a high-end laptop. Julian’s smooth, confident voice echoed from the speakers, a pre-recorded loop discussing studio profits, oblivious to Arthur’s presence.
“Our third quarter projections are outstanding,” the recording stated, devoid of genuine warmth.
Mounted beside the console was a polished steel briefcase. It gleamed under the flickering cabin light, secured with a four-digit combination lock. Arthur recognized the subtle studio branding on its clasp.
He tried his old agency extension, the four numbers burned into his memory: 2-3-7-1. The tumblers clicked. The case sprang open with a soft sigh.
Inside, nestled on a bed of custom foam, was a portable hard drive. Its label, subtly etched, read: “Project Nightingale – Studio Financials.” Julian’s off-the-books ledgers, waiting to be discovered.
