Arthur Delancy Trapped on Midnight Subway by Executive Son Julian After Exposing Hollywood Cover-Up
👉 Previous Decision: You chose Option A – Pull the emergency brake cable and smash the side window to leap into the dark tunnel.
Arthur yanked the red emergency brake handle with all his might. The train shrieked, metal grinding against metal, sending vibrations through his bones.
He grabbed the heavy fire extinguisher from its wall mount. With a grunt, he swung it, shattering the reinforced glass of the side window.
A blast of cold, damp air rushed in, carrying the smell of stale earth and oil. He squeezed through the jagged opening, landing hard on the rough concrete of the tunnel wall. A sharp pain shot through his left shoulder, blooming a warm wetness beneath his coat.
He crawled forward, his injured shoulder screaming, pressing himself against the curved wall, the darkness absolute. Each metallic click from the unseen track sent a jolt of fear through him. Forty minutes later, two transit police officers found him, disoriented and shaking, deep within a maintenance alcove.
“There were… people,” Arthur rasped, his voice raw. “Shrouds. Twelve of them. Julian did this.”
The officers exchanged glances. Arthur repeated his story about the mannequins, the studio wardrobe, his son. They listened, their faces neutral, then helped him to an ambulance.
The next morning, Julian’s PR firm moved swiftly. News outlets, quoting unnamed sources, reported on Arthur’s “erratic behavior” and “diagnosed paranoia.” Julian himself issued a public statement expressing deep concern for his father’s “mental well-being.”
His name, once respected in industry circles, was now smeared with whispers of dementia. Arthur, without physical proof from the train, had become a cautionary tale of a delusional, washed-up former agent.
