Arthur Delancy Trapped on Midnight Subway by Executive Son Julian After Exposing Hollywood Cover-Up
👉 Previous Decision: You chose Option B – Hide behind the conductor’s bulkhead and ambush the lead security officer to take his access radio.
Arthur pressed himself flat against the conductor’s bulkhead, the metal cold against his cheek. The heavy thud of boots grew closer. He gripped the fire extinguisher, its weight reassuring in his hands.
The lead security officer entered the cabin, his flashlight beam cutting through the gloom. He wore a headset, a microphone near his mouth. Arthur lunged. The extinguisher swung in a swift, brutal arc. The guard crumpled with a sharp cry.
Arthur snatched the encrypted radio from the man’s belt. A voice crackled through the earpiece – Julian’s.
“He’s in the cabin, I see him,” Julian barked, his voice tight with frustration. “Do not let him leave. Secure the package.”
Arthur’s blood ran cold. Julian was watching. Live surveillance feeds. Hidden cameras, placed discreetly throughout the subway cars. He realized his son had been enjoying the entire performance from a distance.
Arthur brought the radio close to his mouth. “Watching from your penthouse, Julian?” he taunted, his voice steady despite the tremor in his hands. “Got a good view of me taking your financial codes?” He recited a string of numbers he’d memorized from the automated control box. “This isn’t a game, son.”
He didn’t wait for a reply. Dropping the radio, Arthur scrambled up a rusted service ladder, pushing open a heavy grate to street level. The cool night air hit him, carrying the distant wail of sirens. He was out.
