Burnt-out Nanny Maya Fights $40 Million Estate Employer Locking 4-Year-Old Heir With Giant Python, Uncovering Spectral Collar Cam Evidence and a Secret Gothic Inheritance Trust
Julian Croft was still trying to look busy, pretending to secure his briefcase, his eyes darting towards the shattered nursery door. He probably thought he could just slip away in the confusion.
But I wasn’t finished with him.
As Maya rushed into the nursery, I turned to the notary. He saw me coming, his shoulders hunching.
“Give me the tablet,” I demanded, my voice low but firm. “The one you’re using to coordinate with Victoria.”
He stammered, “I don’t know what you’re talking about! I’m just a witness to these… these legal documents.” He gestured vaguely at the papers in his briefcase.
“You’re a witness to a crime,” I countered. “And that tablet has the evidence.”
He clutched a small, encrypted device tighter in his hand, trying to tuck it behind his back. It was too late. I already knew it was there.
Before he could react, I snatched it. His grip was surprisingly weak, and the tablet was in my hand in an instant.
“Hey!” he protested, but his voice lacked conviction.
My fingers flew across the screen, bypassing his simple passcode. I knew Victoria’s habits; she always used birth dates. It opened to a secure chat, displaying a string of messages.
And there it was. Not just messages, but attachments. Signed documents.
“Accident Report – HVAC malfunction, February 14th.”
“Accident Report – Faulty Wiring, March 3rd.”
“Accident Report – Pest Infestation, April 1st.”
All bearing Julian Croft’s neat signature as the notarizing agent, all predating today. And then, a recent one: “Accident Report – Negligent Nanny, May 17th.” This was what Victoria had been planning.
“These are fake,” I stated, holding the tablet up for the police captain who had stepped out of the nursery, his face still stunned from seeing Syllas. “Victoria paid him to notarize accident reports. She was setting up a paper trail to frame me for negligence, preparing to lock Leo in here, even before today.”
Croft’s face drained of color. He started to protest, then just deflated, his shoulders slumping.
The captain took the tablet from my hand, his expression hardening as he scrolled through the incriminating files. This wasn’t just a welfare check anymore. This was a premeditated plot.
