At 5:00 AM, the political fallout reached a boiling point. The small TV in the server room showed live coverage of Marcus Reynolds, attempting to hold a press conference outside his sprawling residence. He stood at a podium, impeccably dressed, a forced smile plastered across his face.
“These are baseless allegations,” he declared into a forest of microphones, his voice oozing practiced confidence. “Fabricated by a disgruntled ex-employee. Marcus, caught completely off guard, stumbled backward, his carefully constructed facade crumbling. The national television feeds, showing his face contorted in shock, prepared to broadcast the sworn evidence that would dismantle his entire career, live and for the world to see.
The reckoning was at hand.
