Trapped in a Night Rideshare Driven by My Father-in-Law Heading Straight to a Dark Cemetery
👉 Previous Decision: Arthur writes that five years ago, when he first discovered Metro Healthcare was secretly altering organ registries to monetize rare tissue matches, he tried to stop them legally…
Arthur’s letter continued, explaining the impossible events of the night. He had been diagnosed with terminal hepatic failure, given less than 48 hours to live. His body was failing, the ocular jaundice a visible symptom of the end.
“I knew they were onto me,” his writing grew weaker. “Cross-Lin scheduled Lily’s matched heart for private export at midnight. She was trying to erase all traces, sell it before the morning audit.”
Arthur had intercepted the transport van himself. The real driver, bribed, had disappeared. Arthur had taken the driver’s seat, his reflection obscured by the specialized lenses, knowing he was being tracked.
“They were following my vehicle via satellite,” the letter revealed. “I had to lead them somewhere they couldn’t just sweep under the rug. The cemetery vault… it was my emergency contingency, built years ago under a municipal disaster relief protocol. It wasn’t on their corporate spreadsheets.”
He had driven to my house, not to abduct or harm me, but to draw the corporate enforcers into a legally defensible trap at the mausoleum. He needed me there, a witness, a doctor who could confirm the organ’s viability. He needed the police to seize the evidence directly from his hands.
He had deliberately made himself look like the villain, to draw their corporate lawyers away from Mark and Lily, to buy time.
